Explore the renaissance of Downtown Napa and Oxbow Preserve at your own pace - where salt and fresh water meet. Paddle round-trip into the forested Oxbow Preserve or carry-on, deeper into the northern reach toward the confluence of Milliken Creek. Upon your return enjoy convenient access to restaurants and shops above the dock.
Interested in a guided experience? Set the stage for your wine country weekend with a Water To Wine Tour! Your time on the water provides a visceral connection to the Napa River Valley, while your time in the Roots Run Deep Tasting Salon lets you revisit the terroir in your glass after the paddle. On this tour, you will learn about world-class wines and unique influences that make this such a special place.

LOS CARNEROS
Meander through narrow, wetland sloughs in Fagan Marsh State Marine Park
Explore the beautiful wetlands of Los Carneros and where marshlands merge with the Napa River Valley from Fagan Preserve. Experience paddling in the champagne region with breathtaking views of Mt. Veeder, Mt. Diablo, The Sleeping Lady, and Atlas Peak.
Your self-guided trip is timed according to high tide and features support from our GPS-based navigational assistant, which will lead you 3.25 miles along a meandering round-trip loop through narrow, wetland sloughs. You can also opt for a personal guide if you wish.
Launch location is 12min from Downtown Napa off Hwy 121
KENNEDY PARK
Lazy River paddle route is great for families!
You will ride the river into town, with the tide guiding you along the restored wetlands. This one-way trip will take you through the renaissance of Downtown Napa and the Oxbow. A shuttle service is included back to your starting point.
To help you navigate, we offer a complimentary audio guide that includes interesting snippets about the history, culture, and ecology of the Napa River and the entire Napa Valley. This will give you a sense of the rich diversity that makes this place so unique.
You can choose from three different one-way trip distances of 2.5, 4, or 6 miles. The service is available every other week during the afternoon incoming tide or by appointment for groups. Please click the link for all available dates.
