RIDE THE KING TIDE

Feel the power of Mother Nature

Paddle the King Tide on the Petaluma River.

UPDATE! 11/16/24  *Now embarking from Petaluma Marina*

King Tide Paddle will now embark from the Petaluma Marina due to a 5-7 mph WSW wind forecast. 145pm meeting time.

Paddlers will have the option to finish at Lakeville Landing or carry on to Black Point. As such, we will run shuttles after the paddle unless you are 100% sure of your finish location.

Call to book your shuttle 707.200.5511.   Thank you!

Twice a year, when the moon's gravitational pull is the strongest, King Tides swell the Napa and Petaluma Rivers. Catching this tide as it accelerates back out to San Pablo Bay is a thrilling experience, making effortless work of 5 or 12-mile options.

Our Petaluma River King Tide tours launch from Lakeville Landing and paddlers can BYOB (bring your own boat) or rent from us. SUPs are recommended since they allow for greater visibility along the route.

This tour is open to paddlers of all ages and abilities.

ACTIVITY LEVEL
Guests will paddle calm, relatively fast moving water on a tour that has been timed with the breeze and tides for a leisurely experience.

PARKING
Lakeville Landing is a dirt/gravel parking lot that may be muddy due to rain and has limited parking.

For those parking at Lakeville, enter at the south entrance off Lakeville Highway.  Park immediately on the left or against the fence closer to the ramp.

IMPORTANT:  DO NOT MAKE A LEFT HAND TURN WHEN DEPARTING LAKEVILLE LANDING.
When leaving Lakeville Landing, regardless of south or northbound destination, enter the highway with a RIGHT turn.  This is a dangerous entry/exit from the highway.   If you need to head northbound simply merge into the left turning lane once back on the highway, about one hundred yards or so, exit the highway, and do U-Turn on the side road.  Then head back northbound.
